How To Add Podcast To Facebook?

Podcasts have become very popular now, and if you gain more audience, Facebook is the best choice! But do you know how to add podcast to Facebook? This platform allows you to add multiple podcasts to your page. Of course, you can still share your podcasts with other channels and email them to your subscribers, but Facebook will enable them to download your podcasts! Another advantage of adding Podcasts to your FB page is that it provides a separate tab where all your podcasts will be seen.

In this guide, we’ll learn how to add podcast to Facebook:

Steps To Add Podcast To Facebook

Ensure you are the admin of the page where you want to upload a podcast. If you aren’t the page admin, you will be unable to add podcasts. Follow these steps further to upload a podcast to your FB page:

1. Once you log in to your Facebook account, open the page where you want to upload a podcast.

2. Now on the left side menu, click on “Podcasts.”

3. Then, click on “Add podcasts.”

4. Before you add your podcast to your Facebook Page, make sure it’s hosted by a podcast host that has at least one posted episode so you can get an RSS link for it, which you will need now. Once you have the RSS link with you, you need to copy the link and paste it into the box. Once that is done, click “Add.”

5. Once you have uploaded the link, Facebook scans your podcast to retrieve the email ID associated with it. You will see a pop-up that has your email address. If you confirm the address, you need to click “Continue” to receive a unique verification code on your email address. FB does this to ensure that the podcast owner is uploading it on the FB page.

6. Once you receive the confirmation code on your email and you have added the code to prove the authenticity, you need to click “Publish Podcast.

After you’ve uploaded and published your podcast, Facebook will scan your whole published library of shows within an hour or two, and they’ll all be available on your new Podcast tab.

Isn’t it easy to add podcast to Facebook page? The interesting fact is that the podcast episodes are published as videos. The podcast thumbnail will be instantly incorporated into a video that plays your show’s audio. But you need to remember that your podcasts will be available for mobile users only. Facebook feels that most podcast listeners use mobiles to listen to podcasts. Hence it is not available for desktop users.
