There are two ways to view watch history on TikTok. You could either view it directly from the watch history option or send a request to TikTok to download data. Although the watch history feature is now unavailable on the application! However, we have enumerated the steps for both ways for you to know how the feature was used.
Use Watch History Option
1. Open the TikTok application, and tap on the profile icon.
2. Head to the hamburger icon to see TikTok history.
3. Tap on settings & privacy.
4. Scroll down and go to the see watch history on TT.
Remember that watch history data stays for seven days only. So, you won’t be able to see the video that you have watched seven days ago on TikTok.
Download Watch History Data To See TikTok Video
1. Open the application.
2. Go to the profile icon.
3. Tap on the hamburger icon.
4. Go to settings & privacy, and tap on privacy.
5. You will view the download your data option; tap on it to see history on TikTok.
6. Here, select the data format, and tap on request data to see history on TT.
Once the application approves your request, TikTok will send you a mail to verify if it’s you! After that, within 3-4 days, you will receive your data Zip folder.
Did TikTok Remove Watch History?
TT removed watch history soon after it was bestowed on us, so you might not see it on your TT account. There isn’t an apparent reason why was it removed from the application, but if you want to view your watch history , you can download TikTok data.
